Hi Carol, We offer a Bloody Mary & Mimosa Bar during our brunch service for $12.00, which is available for purchase. This includes two refills to our "do it yourself Bloody bar". It is not included in the price of brunch as we do not do a buffet and offer a complete menu of brunch options for our guests. A complete list of our menus are available on our website at brimhousetoledo.com
No we do not cater sorry!
I would say I made reservation within a week.
There is valet parking and also parking lots within walking distance of hotel
You can make table reservations that start as late as 11:30 pm at www.brimhousetoledo.com
On Sunday, yes.
I've never had Brussels in Corned Beef Hash before.Very very good. Good coffee too.
Hotel restaurant and a fine one at that. Superior in food, service and atmosphere. River view and nice looking crowd.
Attended a chef's tasting dinner. Was a phenomenal environment and meal that was all vegan. The chef spent time with all of the tables discussing the dishes and the inspiration behind each.
I visited there to have a brunch on Sunday. The interior was sophisticated and bright. Staffs were very kind. And, foods were really good. They made our day!
This was my first time at Brim House. The menu is definitely for the meat lover. They had a variety of dry aged steaks. I enjoyed the ribeye which was delicious. The menu had an intriguing option for the table called the carnivore board which was a selection not meats. While the meat selection was terrific, the side options were somewhat limited. In particular there was only one vegetable option for non starchy vegetables.
Nice atmosphere with excellent service. I had the eggs benedict for breakfast and it was prepared perfectly.
Amazing food!!! Delicacies galore, with brisk, courteous service! A diamond in the rough, for sure! You can treat your self to a night of exquisite dining and then go to The Heights, upstairs, for a relaxing cocktail with a majestic view. Don't pass this establishment up!!!
Amazing brunch with a Memosa/Bloody Mary bar.
Lovely restaurant but alittle strange there was no hostess station. Server was very pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu. Truly loved the tomato appetizer. My husband ordered the strawberry salad. Both were yummy. Main entree was the sea scallops with a succotash and ordered a side of lavender risotto. The risotto was so salty that I had to send back. Seems like the chef forgot to taste the risotto. My husband ordered the duck and a side of Broccoli au gratin. Both dinners were wonderful minus the risotto. Dessert was pineapple creme brulee and lemoncello tiramsu. It was so awesome. Bathrooms were clean but not very accessible you either have to go downstairs of the hotel or in the lobby. Will go back.
Our family met at Brim House, downtown Toledo for Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time. They had a special menu for the day. We had a meal choice of vegetarian or regular. It was a five course meal. Here are three pictures -roasted turkey roulade, corn bread waffle and dinner rolls. We also had yam croquette and warm bacon (grilled pork belly) salad. The vegetarian food was smoked tofu and roasted apple toast. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was classy urban - New York vibe. It has large picture windows overlooking the plaza (outdoor skating rink which was closed for the day) and the river. A very clean restaurant and restrooms. We paid $36 per person for the Thanksgiving meal. It was worth it.
Great food! Aaron was a GREAT waiter/bartender! Great atmosphere!!!
I had the oysters to start and they were definitely the best I've had in Toledo. (Fresh and fantastic accompaniments) The charcuterie board was great and balanced. The complimentary bread was delicious. The fried chicken was also great and spot on seasoning. Lastly, I ordered a digestif cocktail. The bartender even came over and explained the seasonal drink to make sure I knew it would be served warm. It was also delicious and great ending to a fabulous experience. I will definitely be back soon.
This was actually one of the best restaurants I've eaten in. I was passing through Toledo on the way to Detroit and thought that it would be a culinary dead zone. I was proven dead wrong after eating here. The portions are huge, so beware. The chicken lollipops were some of the most tender, juicy chicken I've had. It was sous vide, finished in oven, and then smoked. Fall off the bone tender.
The food is tremendous. Atmosphere, decor and sitting superb. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Only complaint is lukewarm water and the adjacent dirty table.
This place was absolutely awesome for brunch, incredibly unique brunch menu and an absolutely amazing bloody Mary bar. Very classy and well done establishment looking right over the water of the Maumee river
We were there in September and it was delightful! Came back today, Dec.21, new chef, definitely not as good as before. Really bummed, thought we had found a new favorite downtown.
Everything was delicious. The fried chicken, artichoke pasta, scallops, Brussels sprouts, cheesecake dessert, all just perfect. The mac n cheese, best ever. Had one small issue in that the soda dispenser wasn't working properly but it was brought to our servers attention, attended to promptly and corrected with only a minor wait. All in all a terrific meal and experience! Highly recommend!
Saw some good reviews on Google about the corn beef hash so i came down here with my girl for lunch. The place is very good, the corn beef hash was the best i have ever had. My girls meal was awesome as well. Will return for a dinner service
Fantastic from start to finish. Walking in, it has a very cosmopolitan ambience. We thought it looked more like a restaurant that should be in Chicago - not in Toledo. Decor was also very sleek and stylish.Service was excellent, and not rushed. Manager came over numerous times to say hello, and check how everything was. We tried (3) shared appetizers, and entree, and a dessert. All were phenomenal - and a bit unique. We tried the poke, the corn soup and carrots 3 ways, as well as the scallops and bread pudding. While I can't wait to return, I will be torn on whether to try something new - as so much looked good, or to have some of these same great dishes. Drinks were also a bit unique, and presentation of the drinks were done in older fashoned glasses, and presentation of food was gorgeous. Can't recommend highly enough.
Went to Brim House as the default location for the Super Bowl (I was staying at the Renaissance) and was pleasantly surprised by an AWESOME experience and equally impressive dinner. The food was amazing, the staff (Chris, Amber, and Tony) were all SUPER helpful. This will definitely be my go-to spot in Toledo moving forward. One suggestion: I wish there was a way to get some of the great food from the full service kitchen at the Brim House up to the Heights restaurant. Then you would have an awesome view and and outstanding food!
The food was amazing! I took a party of eight executives here and everyone expressed that it was one of the better meals they have ever had. The lamb shank was so tender and literally all the meat fell off the bone. We had the oysters, bacon platter, smoked feta and the chacurtie for the table. All were spot on fabulous!
Awesome bartender - made me the best daiquiri!
Love the ambiance. Classy, yet laid back.
Love this place come here for food all the time. Good for dates or groups I recommend.
Good food and music. The portions are smaller than usual fine dining restaurant
Great food and over 10 beers on draft. Had the crispy lobster tacos with kim chi. A bit spicy but excellent nonetheless!
Lovely food, atmosphere, and architecture
Cool location along the river and the food was delectable. Service was slightly underwhelming for the small crowd that was in attendance.
I’m thoroughly disappointed with Brim House, I had heard great reviews about this place so I decided to come try it out. My first let down was that the valet, was no really valet. We had to walk in and find an employee to take the car. The hostess was so welcoming and bright, we sat down and were handed the menus. No one said anything about the specials, the menu was a second disappointment with the raves I expected crafty meals but was met by pish posh. I was already wanting to go to another restaurant with a menu that impressed me. I had left the table to call around, when I returned my father had told me what the waiter had said to him and I was infuriated. A waiter had asked my father if this restaurant was too expensive. You have got to be kidding me! I am visiting from Seattle, Washington. Every week we lavishly spend on food and entertainment. I found it to be extremely demeaning for someon to accuse my family of not being able to afford the restaurant. We left immediately.
Amazing experience at the brimhouse. Ask for Sam extremely attentive and knowledgeable about items on the menu. Thank you so much for the fantastic time!
Nice meal in a charming well lit restaurant inside of the renaissance hotel. They combine many different flavors into their meals for a unique taste. Good for birthdays and date nights etc.
We've been here a couple times. The food is very inventive and modern. It's always fresh and incredible. This is by far our favorite restaurant anywhere. It is truly unique to Toledo. The atmosphere and ambience is modern and inviting. You can look at the Maumee River and the docks across the river. The service is always impeccable. This is by far probably the best restaurant in Toledo. Pricing is mid to a little higher. Parking is tough. You have to pay for valet or parking and adjacent parking lot and walk over. But either way it is by far worth it. If you're looking for something truly unique, cooked by real chefs, made-to-order, and truly creative and modern in this is the place.
Staying at the Renaissance, I’ve eaten at Brim House three times and I have been very happy with each outing. The food is delicious and the staff, with the exception of one bartender, is great. The burgers and sandwiches from the bar menu are delicious. And if you like brussel sprouts, theirs did not disappoint. Definitely worth trying if you’re in town for business! Great bunch. Love the Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar. Food is fantastic. Steak and eggs the best Monica and Austin are incredible
It's a gem of a place! We were here for brunch and everything we had was amazing, right from Banana french toast to, summer tacos etc. I'd come back any time for this out here. Highly recommended!
We loved Brim House! Good atmosphere, knowledgeable & friendly staff, and amazing food. Innovative and seasoned so perfectly.
The restaurant's location has changed (from the corner of Glendale and Detroit, to the old Ruby Tuesday building just up the street...on Glendale.Absolute best diner in Toledo. They have everything at a great price and service is usually great as well. I don't currently have any specifics but I've been to this diner over dozens of times, it's by far one of my all time favorites!
Stopped in for brunch on a Saturday. The food was amazing! Definitely will return for more brunches!
Great/Excellent food and Service
Amazing brunch! Bloody Mary bar was great. Food out of this world. Seafood eggs and blt were delicious. Great river views and cool vibe made it a great experience. Valet parking was a nice treat. Costs $10, but nice. Will be back!
Toledo's best spot for a gourmet breakfast, in addition to lunch and dinner. Great service and views complement the modern and well prepared New American cuisine.
They changed chefs and ruined our favorite restaurant. The entrees were good, but the sides were a joke. How do you serve broccoli that you can't cut?We will not be back.
My husband and I went to Brim House for our anniversary. We were looking for something different. We stumbled upon Brim House through a google search and are we glad we did! It’s industrial modern look set a great tone, while our view over looking the river only added to the experience. Everyone was polite and our waitress was very patient, knowledgeable and helpful. The menu was on the smaller side, but I’m not lying when I say we wanted to try EVERYTHING! They took traditional foods and added a little twist. We enjoyed the oysters, lamb shank and bison meatloaf. We will gladly return!
Ok but kinda pricy. $20 for eggs, potatoes and 3 links of sausage, with coffee and tip. Potatoes were real but lukewarm.
Attended one of the Chefs Table Events - Medieval Theme - The food and wines were delicious. The staff was extremely friendly, Highly recommend attending.
The chicken and corn waffles was so amazing and I've had a fair share of Chicken & waffles around the country, this place is probably one of the best I've had. Great views of the river. Super modern place and the staff was on their game.
Food was very good. Service unfortunately was slow tonight. Pleasant contemporary ambiance
We come here often for brunch. The menu is always great. Staff is friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Ambiance was great! The staff was very accommodating as well! My coat was too long to rest on the back of the chair so the hostess offered to take in the back and hang it for me. Bloody Mary/mimosa bar was great! Three trips included! Our party had the corned beef hash, lobster Benedict, burger and the Nashville chicken. All were excellent but the corned beef was the star of the show! Kudos to the chef! Dessert did not disappoint!
Stopped in for Restaurant Week and loved the menu options. The service was outstanding! The charcuterie board also offered a nice variety. I look forward to stopping in again.
